Inspired by Hope
The Catholic Worker is grounded in the vision and mission of the Sermon on the Mount. We believe that Jesus calls us to not only believe in the Kingdom of God, but to act as if it were real in our midst. So, we share food, proclaim peace, walk with our struggling brothers and sisters, and welcome the stranger. We lift up meaningful labor, organic farming, community, and love of neighbor and enemy. We resist war, racism, sexism, classism and the prison industrial complex.
How to Help
If you want to join us and help, you can come to our free community breakfast on Wednesdays and Thursdays, help with pick ups, the community garden and hospitality house projects. Thanks!
